Course Modules

Our PMP Certification Course prepares professionals to pass the PMP exam and succeed in complex project environments. You’ll gain the skills and strategies to lead teams, manage resources, and deliver value across project lifecycles.

The outline below presents key learning objectives for all nine modules in the exam prep sequence. The objectives are designed to support mastery of the PMP exam domains, strengthen real-world project management judgment, and reinforce readiness across predictive, agile, and hybrid delivery environments.

Module 1: Welcome and Exam Orientation

  • Understand the purpose, structure, and value of the PMP certification.
     
  • Become familiar with the exam format, question styles, timing, and overall testing experience.
     
  • Recognize how the course aligns to the PMP Exam Content Outline and required study hours.
     
  • Set personal study goals, expectations, and a preparation strategy for successful completion.

Module 2: The Big Picture: Strategy, Value, and Delivery Approaches

  • Define what a project is and distinguish project management from ongoing operations.
     
  • Explain how projects support organizational strategy, benefits realization, and value delivery.
     
  • Differentiate predictive, agile, and hybrid approaches and identify when each is appropriate.
     
  • Describe project life cycles, governance, and the role of the project manager in diverse delivery environments. 
Module 3: Stakeholders, Vision, and Communication

  • Identify stakeholders and analyze their influence, interests, expectations, and engagement needs.
     
  • Develop and communicate a shared project vision that aligns stakeholders around desired outcomes.
     
  • Plan and manage communications using appropriate methods, frequency, and messaging for different audiences.
     
  • Apply strategies to build stakeholder trust, support engagement, and maintain alignment throughout the project.

Module 4: Teams, Conflict, and Knowledge

  • Build and support high-performing teams through clear roles, collaboration, and shared accountability.
     
  • Apply conflict management approaches appropriate to the situation and team dynamics.
     
  • Use leadership, coaching, and emotional intelligence to support team performance and development.
     
  • Promote knowledge sharing, lessons learned, and continuous learning across the project team. 

Module 5: Scope, Requirements, and Planning

  • Gather, analyze, and prioritize requirements to support clear and achievable project scope.
     
  • Create planning components such as scope, schedule, resource, and cost considerations.
     
  • Integrate planning activities to establish a realistic and coherent path for project delivery.
     
  • Apply tailoring decisions based on project context, uncertainty, and delivery approach.

Module 6: Risk, Quality, and Change

  • Identify, assess, and prioritize project risks and determine appropriate response strategies.
     
  • Plan and manage quality to ensure deliverables meet requirements and stakeholder expectations.
     
  • Evaluate change requests for impact on scope, schedule, cost, quality, and value.
     
  • Use disciplined change control and adaptive decision-making to maintain project performance.

Module 7: Execution, Delivery, and Performance Management

  • Execute project work with focus on business value, team coordination, and timely delivery.
     
  • Monitor performance using relevant metrics, artifacts, and reporting methods.
     
  • Manage issues, impediments, and dependencies to sustain progress and delivery flow.
     
  • Assess project performance and recommend corrective or preventive actions when needed.

Module 8: Business Environment, Compliance, and Organizational Change

  • Explain how organizational strategy, governance, and external factors influence project decisions.
     
  • Plan for compliance, regulatory, and policy requirements relevant to the project environment.
     
  • Evaluate how organizational change affects stakeholders, adoption, and project outcomes.
     
  • Support benefits realization and ensure project outcomes remain aligned with business objectives.

Module 9: Exam Readiness, Application, and Final Review

  • Integrate concepts across People, Process, and Business Environment into scenario-based decision-making.
     
  • Practice applying PMP mindset principles to situational and exam-style questions.
     
  • Identify knowledge gaps and create a focused final review plan for weak areas.
     
  • Build confidence with test-taking strategies, time management, and last-step exam preparation.
