Who Should Attend

This course is for anyone interested in becoming a more effective organizational leader by increasing their understanding of how organizations work as well as how their individual leadership style impacts the behavior of their teams.

The course is especially beneficial for women who have not had extensive exposure to leadership models, organizational behavior frameworks, and theoretical models of organization behavior. The topics are appropriate for all organizational levels and functional areas and may be especially beneficial for new leaders, those aspiring to leadership positions, and long-time leaders who would like to enhance their leadership effectiveness.

    • Leadership and Human Behavior

      • Abraham Maslow's theory of Hierarchal Needs
         
    • Women and Leadership Discussion

      • Tools and techniques for Thriving in the Workplace
         
    • Transformational Leadership
       

    Students will complete:

    •    A Leadership Style Self-Assessment
    •    A Leadership Matrix Survey
    •    An exercise of their organization’s culture and climate
