A thorough understanding of verbs is necessary for developing a thorough understanding of grammar. In fact, at least half of all grammar mistakes occur when using verbs. The reason is simple: Verbs undergo many grammatical changes.
We designed this course to allow you to focus exclusively on building your mastery of verbs without being distracted by the other elements of grammar. This course will clearly and systematically explain how the verb system works while providing you with numerous hands-on exercises for practice.
In this course, you will review the most common areas where mistakes can occur, including subject-verb agreement, verb conjugation, verb tenses, irregular verbs, active vs. passive voice, and much more. You will also build the confidence you need to use verbs correctly and to be comfortable expressing yourself in speech and in writing. In addition, you will receive a helpful reference guide containing over 500 of the most frequently used verbs, along with their conjugations and sample sentences.
- Review the six basic verb forms and how and when to use them:
